Hi, After starting toaster in project mode and importing configurations from meta-yocto/conf/toasterconf.json file, the default release for a new project is: local (Local Yocto Project) instead of master(Yocto Project master) as it is in the toasterconf.json file. From toasterconf.json: Build configuration saved -- Do you want to import basic layer configuration from "/home/ionut/work/weekly/poky/meta-yocto/conf/toasterconf.json" ? (y/N):y $ cat toasterconf.json | grep defaultrelease -A 12 "defaultrelease": "master", "releases": [ { "name": "master", "description": "Yocto Project master", "bitbake": "master", "branch": "master", "defaultlayers": [ "openembedded-core", "meta-yocto", "meta-yocto-bsp"], "layersourcepriority": { "User Imported Layers": 99, "Local Poky" : 10, "OpenEmbedded" : 0 }, "helptext": "Toaster will run your builds using the <a href=\"http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/log/\">Yocto Project master branch</a>, where active development takes place. This is not a stable branch, so your builds might not work as expected." } $ pwd /home/ionut/work/weekly/poky/meta-yocto/conf From database: sqlite> select release_id from orm_project; release_id = 3 sqlite> select * from orm_release where id=3; description = Local Yocto Project branch_name = HEAD helptext = Toaster will run your builds with the version of the Yocto Project you have cloned or downloaded to your computer. bitbake_version_id = 3 id = 3 name = local Cheers, Ionut C
Hi, This is not a bug. Prior creating the project, I changed the default release to Local. Closed. Cheers, Ionut C
