Error output

I'm trying to do a build on 1.7 dizzy branch. My aim is to make a build for raspberrypi. To this end I have added the following recipes to my bblayers.conf file: meta-raspberrypi and meta-gstreamer. I have also set the MACHINE variable in my local.conf to raspberrypi as described: https://delog.wordpress.com/2014/09/16/embedded-linux-system-for-raspberry-pi-with-yocto-project/

The error I'm seeing when I run 'bitbake rpi-hwup-image' is attached. The byacc recipe appears to be under 'meta/recipes-extended', which is not as far as I can see related to anything for my raspberrypi changes more the underlying default bitbake settings.

Can anyone confirm this problem? Is there a way around it?

Can you please attach your config.log file from within the byacc-native build directory. It can be found here:
/media/paulm/Acer-executable/poky/rpi-build/tmp/work/x86_64-linux/byacc-native/20140422-r0/build/config.log

I am working on the theory that your build machine is mis-configured, since we reply on a certain configuration and it seems you might be missing mkstemp() function somehow. byacc-native builds consistently on all our build machines.

I did a fresh pull on master and this problem has gone away.

In master, we appear to have several updates to byacc:

http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=f25fdec966e2527a7464b0c6861e7cc2a4410016

http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=8aa5f17b08193aeebd58e58ba64f247109f3bd03

http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=bfe16dbb3c237992a4d5bfc0bbd249257c3b9aff

and I would guess that one of these adds in the support to get this building on that distro.

I tried to build the core-image-sato for qemux86-64 following the quick start guide and found the same problem while building byacc-native. I just cloned the git today (2015-02-12). I'm attaching the log file
