With Poky: $ MACHINE=qemux86-64 bitbake virtual/kernel ... Value requested for CONFIG_PCI_GOANY not in final ".config" Requested value: "CONFIG_PCI_GOANY=y" Actual value set: ""
I'm not seeing this in my builds. Let me root cause the difference. ./bsp/common-pc/common-pc-drivers.cfg:CONFIG_PCI_GOANY=y Is what contains the option, so I should be seeing the same warning if it is being dropped.
I'll take this one, since it is qemu related.
I have the fix, and will send the update to 3.19 shortly. commit f7a81274b461d0c748964d75c24bea8574d350fb Author: Bruce Ashfield <bruce.ashfield@windriver.com> Date: Tue Feb 24 13:19:13 2015 -0500 meta: common-pc: split 32 bit-only drivers 64 bit BSPs also use the common-pc drivers. To avoid warnings when these options are dropped, we split the config into 32 bit only and common.
