\_SB.MBID device is not needed on BYT-I SKUs when DPTF is not present as there is no PUNIT FW to communicate with from IA side. So \_SB.MBID should be removed from DSDT on MinnowBoard MAX to prevent MBI driver from installing. Currently IOTG drivers package for Windows includes MBI driver (as it is generic BYT-I package) so if \_SB.MBID is present driver installs. But since it is not needed, it is better to remove it to avoid support overhead.
Created attachment 2442 [details] Removed_MBDI_From_DSDT Please test both images(32bit and 64 bit),which removed MBI device from ACPI DSDT Table.

The attached engineering drop has already included the fix. V0.79 release will offically include the fix.
We are no longer tracking in Yocto Project Bugzilla MinnowBoard and MinnowBoard-MAX HW and firmware bugs.
