Currently we have ext4 type images for qemu in YOCTO 1.8, but in HOB we don't have this configuration option. Please note that in Build Appliance test, it's the same
Unfortunately, we are no longer actively developing Hob, so we are in no position to provide a fix for this. We will happily take a patch, though, if anybody would like to submit a fix.

Hi Belen, This blocks running qemu from HOB in BA as Ke mentioned. So I believe this will need to be whitelisted if it won't be fixed during 1.8
