Steps taken:
1. start toaster
2. create new project
3. navigate to "all machines" page
4. activate all columns from the "edit columns" menu

The "Select" column should have a filter option, as per the design document.
It currently does not.

The way the "all compatible" pages are implemented was causing a lot of trouble with the filters, so we decided to remove them from the time being. Once more, apologies for not communicating this properly.
