Description Jussi Kukkonen 2015-03-16 12:56:29 UTC
Workflow documentation probably should either not mention "PR" or should mention that typically it does not need to be included in recipes anymore.

Currently all the workflows in section 4.3 include something like this (for git):
> 11. Increment the Recipe Revision Number: Finally, don't forget
> to 'bump' the PR value in the recipe since the resulting
> packages have changed.

Hi,

I removed the step in the Quilt workflow. This is the only area that it really existed in the manuals under development. We do have sections that cover the PR Service as the preferred method for tracking package revisions now. In any case, this section mentioned is clean now. See http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/1.8/dev-manual/dev-manual.html#using-a-quilt-workflow for the change.

I have set status to RESOLVED and placed the "doc" flag into "Done".

Thanks,
Scott
