Recipe file missing from recipe details page

The recipe file information shows in the recipes table, but if you click on the recipe name and visit the recipe details page, the recipe file is missing there (see attached screenshot).

I have tried this in my builds, specifically the packages "attr-native" and "base-files" and I do see the recipe files.

I observe that your failing example is for "apache". I am suspicious since I expect that you added this in the "IMAGE_INSTALL_append" variable, and we already have a known issue that "IMAGE_INSTALL_append" when used does not appear in the variables table. I wonder if these issues are related.

Belen, can you see if any other base recipes have this issue in your instance?

I will myself add apache and see if I can replicate the issue with this package.

I observe that the recipe file paths are all present in the all recipes page, so the data is present in the database, including the given example "apache2".

I can confirm that while the recipe file is present in many of the recipe detail pages but not all of the recipe details pages, in a pattern that I do not yet recognize.

The main issue is that 2/3 of the recipes do not have a path prefix to the build directory (they are relative). Thus when “get_local_path” attempts to strip the build path prefix that is not there, you get the observed empty entries.

The other issue is that the remaining recipes have a “virtual:native:” prefix to the layer’s path, meaning that the paths without that prefix lose their first 15 characters when displayed.
