We need an automated test for the extensible SDK. This needs to: 1) Verify that the extensible SDK can be installed successfully 2) Verify that the normal SDK functionality works, i.e. that the environment is set up and the toolchain can be used 3) Verify that all of devtool's functionality is working in the extensible SDK context. If possible this should be along the lines of the oe-selftest tests for devtool (meta/lib/oeqa/selftest/devtool.py) - perhaps we can simply re-use the oe-selftest tests, even if we have to invoke them differently?
Now the basic is on review, It contains, install, execute sdk tests and devtool ones for locate, build. add/reset. Only missing update. See, http://lists.openembedded.org/pipermail/openembedded-core/2016-February/116675.html
