Patchwork has some support for pull requests, but no real concept of a patch series - it only sees patches and pull request cover letters and deals with them individually. It would be nice if they would be presented appropriately when they are posted as a series.
Damien Lespiau is currently working on this; his WIP code is on github: https://github.com/dlespiau/patchwork
Adding an estimate - this is not the number of days required to do the work (since it is being done externally) but a day to cover us enabling it in our instance.
freedesktop.org's patchwork has some support there: http://patchwork-freedesktop.readthedocs.org/en/latest/manual.html#submitting-patches Not quite considered finished though. A few related github issues: - https://github.com/dlespiau/patchwork/issues/57 - https://github.com/dlespiau/patchwork/issues/6 - https://github.com/dlespiau/patchwork/issues/11 - https://github.com/dlespiau/patchwork/issues/58
Proper support for series means: * identify series (patchwork already does that) * reliably (edge cases and known issues documented) * ability to update the status of a series. The status, right now, is looking like it will be an aggregate of the individual status of its patches
Based on Demian's and Belen's comments, we consider the requested support for series in place, and the remaining issues will be handled as bugs on top of it. Therefore, I'm closing this bug but I can be reopened if required.
