Testing Env: Host: Ubuntu 10.10 x86_64 Kernel: 2.6.35-25-generic Images from weekly build 20110226 http://autobuilder.pokylinux.org/nightly/20110226-1/ When running 'rpm -e package' command would meet an error: ################# root@qemuarm:~# rpm -ivh man-1.6f-r0.armv5te.rpm Preparing... ########################################### [100%] 1:man ########################################### [100%] root@qemuarm:~# rpm -ivh man-dev-1.6f-r0.armv5te.rpm Preparing... ########################################### [100%] 1:man-dev ########################################### [100%] root@qemuarm:~# rpm -e man-dev error: cannot create %_repackage_dir /var/spool/repackage/1298783317 root@qemuarm:~# rpm -e man error: cannot create %_repackage_dir /var/spool/repackage/1298783326 ################# But the package can be removed. This issue happens on qemuarm/qemumips/qemuppc and beagleboard.
The same error happens on x86 platform also.
Lowering the priority. This is not actually a failure. The package is indeed removed.
