BB has a layout abi number it keeps track of in the TMPDIR where deploy,log,work,etc are stored, It is in the file abi_version. It is 11 for master (at the moment) and it is 10 for fido.  Trying to build something (alsa-lib) first for master (works) and then for a different project that is based on fido, it fails. The content of the toaster_ui.log file is that the abi_version has changed.

To reproduce:
1) make a project based on master (P1)
2) build alsa-lib
3) make a project based on fido (P2)
4) build alsa-lib
-- look in toaster-ui.log and see the sanity failure based on "layout version number".

Is this the same as bug 7880, or just triggered in a similar way?
