When running testimage dmesg test segfault error message was displayed.

This was fixed in 2.1 and can be backported to jetrho as well.

this is the same bug as bug 6584 but wasn't merged into Jethro

cdeb2415dde98771950f8008261ec7618a400f5e is the fix back ported to Jethro branch. Close it.
