During investigation of this trouble I made `git clone git://uclibc-ng.org/git/uclibc-ng' manually and found that there is no branch '1.0' there but in meta/recipes-core/uclibc/uclibc-git.inc is defined SRC_URI = "git://uclibc-ng.org/git/uclibc-ng;branch=1.0 \ I look at the same file in the master branch from git://git.yoctoproject.org/poky.git repo and found that it contains the same definitions of SRC_URI and SRCREV but when I try to build uclibc I get just warning: WARNING: Failed to fetch URL git://uclibc-ng.org/git/uclibc-ng;branch=1.0, attempting MIRRORS if available and building is completed correctly
Presumably they deleted that branch as it was the same as master. Well I've submitted a patch to change the SRC_URI. When it worked it was downloading a mirror from our source mirrors, which contained the branch.
