I happened to find the following error when building today's poky master plus meta-n450 and meta-demo.

Re-runing "bitbake gnu-config" worked. So there may be some race condition or task dependency issue?

Looks the commit doesn't really fix the bug and now the ERROR is a little different now:

Sorry, we did indeed just move the problem. I've merged a patch from upstream bitbake to address this fully:
