As adt-installer is not supported anymore in 2.1, remove the reference from "Common targets" Common targets are: core-image-minimal core-image-sato meta-toolchain adt-installer meta-ide-support ... ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'adt-installer'
That did get removed I believe - though I think there is something funny going on with that list; on my system it is no longer shown at all.
OK, I just noticed that adt-installer reference is indeed still present in meta-poky/conf/conf-notes.txt - that needs to be dropped. I've filed a separate bug relating to my comment above (bug 9278).
I just pulled master. when I create a new build folder via source oe-init-build-env build-aaa I still get ... ### Shell environment set up for builds. ### You can now run 'bitbake <target>' Common targets are: core-image-minimal core-image-sato meta-toolchain adt-installer meta-ide-support
The commit I used: 8debfea81e69d038bd2d56314b272cb74f5582ed
