Description Jose Lamego 2016-03-16 17:31:22 UTC
This change applies to all documentation versions.

In section "Deploying and Debugging the Application", insert the following note:

"
Note
Currently Eclipse does not support SSH port forwarding, so if you need to run/debug a remote application using the host display, you must create a tunneling connection from outside Eclipse and keep alive during your work. For example: In a new terminal, run 'ssh -XY user_name@remote_host_ip', then in Eclipse's run configuration, add the command to be executed before application: 'export DISPLAY=:10.0'
"

Hi,

See http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/2.1/sdk-manual/sdk-manual.html#deploying-and-debugging-the-application for the note and let me know if this is okay.

Thanks,
Scott
