Launch sato image for qemumips64 2. Click some applications, e.g. Terminal. Then click 'Home' icon, it can not back to the desktop. This issue only happens on qemumips64.
Can reproduce. * panel is functional, other applets work fine * even Home button obviously clicks, it just doesn't do anything
This has the same root cause as bug 9026. I have a fix/workaround.
(In reply to comment #2) > This has the same root cause as bug 9026. I have a fix/workaround. Wow, I was too cocky. It is the same root cause but the workaround doesn't actually apply to this one... The problem is that _NET_SHOWING_DESKTOP values get corrupted on mips64 at some point: As far as I can tell mbwm is sending the correct value (0 or 1). The panel sees the change notifications but the _NET_SHOWING_DESKTOP value it reads is always the same regardless of what wm sent (but the value seems to change between boots).
Should be fixed now. commit 93e411ee00805c0d37b68317a5916acdbe58d951 Author: Jussi Kukkonen <jussi.kukkonen@intel.com> Date: Mon Mar 21 21:43:18 2016 +0200 matchbox-wm: Update to fix XChangeProperty datatype issue This brings us to master HEAD and adds a single commit compared to the previous version: 8178e70 ewmh: Fix data type of a few XChangeProperty calls This fixes broken Home-button in matchbox panel on mips64 (and probably other platforms).
