Hi Rob, I downloaded the poky sdk for Anjuta and followed all the configuration info up until building the sdk. The build failed as gtk2 or glib2 could not be found, so as per usual i tried to install the gtk2 dev etc etc as one would but apt-get then fell down a rabbit hole of unmet dependencies. can one install this on ubuntu 9.04 ? I have spent approx 8 hours trying to get this right, which brings me to the longest ever time spent on trying to build what seemed to be a " fairly robust and well used package" I have spent at least 2 of those hours looking for similar problems and solutions and it seems that I am not the only one am i being stupid ? Best Regards Tom
Hi, Tom I did not have 9.04 but tried on Ubuntu9.10 and 10.04 for Anjuta2.28. But it should be workable on 9.04. So could you tell me your anjuta version number too. I think if you can run anjuta 2.28, poky sdk should be ok too. Thanks& Regards, criping
Not sure what's the problem he's meeting and need more information.
I could not reproduce the problem for long time.
Hi,Tom You report a bug below for failed to use poky sdk plugin. Could you help to have a look at the bug status now? Does it still exist today? And if without poky sdk plugin, could you successfully running meta-sdk-standalone-toolchain, you know that's the precondition of using poky sdk plugin. Thanks a lot for your help! criping
I have sent a email to TOM directly, querying the recent status of the bug and about how to reproduce his problem. criping
Since no response got from TOM, this bug could be closed, I think.
See the last comment, stale problem and can't reproduce, original reporter lost contact...
