Description Dave Stewart 2011-03-24 18:13:16 UTC
I'm following what I believe is a bernard version of the quickstart, and it tells you that if you are on F14, you need to do "bitbake make-native" before you build anything else.

I'm trying to build with the gold candidate on f14, and got a failure in this "bitbake make-native" step. I heard that this step may not be needed any more because we fixed make. If so, you should remove this from the QS.

It is no longer needed and we should remove that step from the QS.

I have removed the Note from the manual that talks about running 'bitbake make-native' if you are running Fedora 14. Also, the previous pull request I sent regarding Colin Walters reference for more information on the Make bug is pretty much a moot point now.

Fixes in manual.
