Description Sascha Silbe 2016-04-12 12:53:57 UTC
The image generated by poky may be used inside a VM that only has a virtio console configured, but no serial console. It would be great if poky could provide a getty on virtio (hvc0), too, if present. To avoid gettys on non-existant TTYs respawning constantly, SERIAL_CONSOLES_CHECK should probably be set to the same value as SERIAL_CONSOLES.

I've only tried qemux86-64; the same may apply to the "qemu" machines for other architectures, too.

Sorry, I didn't get your intend. Do you remember how did you try qemux86-64?
How did you modify relevant files?

Thanks
