Corporate security policies may require all internal file transfers to be authenticated. This can be done by using sftp or scp to transfer the files. 

Please extend the *MIRRORS check in meta/classes/sanity.bbclass to allow using sftp:// and ssh:// in PREMIRRORS, SSTATE_MIRRORS and MIRRORS to address this use case.
