Description Paul Eggleton 2016-04-18 22:19:32 UTC
If you add something that depends on python to TOOLCHAIN_HOST_TASK for the standard SDK, when building an extensible SDK you will get python in the SDK sysroot, leading to the eSDK installation failing.

Broadly, we need some way of properly handling items added to TOOLCHAIN_HOST_TASK / TOOLCHAIN_TARGET_TASK. Either they should have no effect (and document this), or we should translate them such that the requested items appear in the OE sysroots inside the SDK instead of the SDK sysroots so they can actually be used.

Still worth doing when we have the people available. -- YP bug review.
