Description Humberto Ibarra 2016-05-14 19:41:45 UTC
Similar issue to the one described in #8321, only this applies to wic instead of yocto-bsp script.

optparse library is deprecated since 2.7, scripts should use argparse instead.

Humberto, optparse in python3 is still available so priority is a bit lower on this.
Comment 2 Leonardo Sandoval Gonzalez 2016-06-21 20:35:58 UTC
some related info on this transition https://docs.python.org/2/library/argparse.html#upgrading-optparse-code
Comment 3 Leonardo Sandoval Gonzalez 2016-06-23 19:55:08 UTC
My fault, moving it to M1 again. CCB should agree on any milestone movement.
Comment 4 Leonardo Sandoval Gonzalez 2017-01-25 20:29:53 UTC
This is not a priority right now so moving it to next release.
