Description Belen Barros Pena 2016-05-17 15:14:40 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1) Create a Toaster project
2) Go to the "BitBake variables" page
3) Click the 'Change' icon for DL_DIR or SSTATE_DIR
4) Delete the value in the text input field
5) Type a valid character (for example a letter or a number)

Outcome: the error message telling you special characters are not allowed shows up, even though the character you typed is not invalid.

This only happens if you delete the value and start typing a new value from scratch. If you just add to the value (without deleting it) the validation works correctly.
