I can't reproduce it: MACHINE = "qemuarm" IMAGE_CLASSES += "testimage" bitbake core-image-sato -ctestimage All are passed.
Also in the log is: 14:04:52 - bitbake-worker - RESULTS - Testcase 1096: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/romanalx/master2.2/poky/meta/lib/oeqa/utils/decorators.py", line 109, in wrapped_f return func(*args, **kwargs) File "/home/romanalx/master2.2/poky/meta/lib/oeqa/utils/decorators.py", line 97, in wrapped_f return f(*args, **kwargs) File "/home/romanalx/master2.2/poky/meta/lib/oeqa/runtime/rpm.py", line 55, in test_rpm_query_nonroot self.assertTrue(status == 0, msg="Failed to create new user: " + output) AssertionError: False is not true : Failed to create new user: useradd: user 'test1' already exists Was the same test run twice on the same image or something like that?
.
From memory the test case should be cleaning up the users afterwards. The useradd failure is the first instance of bug 8988 that I've seen since the logging was added, and it's good to see it failed as the user already existed. I'll do a bit more digging. It's entirely possibly that all the failures are due to the useradd failure.
Edwin has a patch in progress for the older bug 9204. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 9204 ***
