Description Alejandro del Castillo 2016-06-16 21:13:08 UTC
The internal solver lets you install/upgrade/remove using a pattern, like opkg remove python-*. This doesn't work on the libsolv backend.
Comment 1 Alejandro del Castillo 2016-09-08 16:51:52 UTC
Correction: the internal solver will only let you use globs for remove operations.

Commit fbc324599e77836826acc5bcd0f30bebdcf03d97 enables globing for remove operations for the libsolv backend, achieving parity with the internal solver.

Globing for install/upgrade still needs to be implemented.

Using this ticket to track the work needed to get the internalsolv to use globs for install/upgrades.
