failure log

I wanted to build luna from eclipse-poky source, and after looking at http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/2.2/sdk-manual/sdk-manual.html#zip-file-method I noticed that the branch meant for this was luna/yocto-2.2

However, this tag does not exist yet. It was pointed out to me that luna-master would do the trick, but build.sh failed to build the eclipse plugin.

Error is the following:

generateScript:
[eclipse.buildScript] Some inter-plug-in dependencies have not been satisfied.
[eclipse.buildScript] Bundle org.yocto.sdk.remotetools:
[eclipse.buildScript] Missing required plug-in org.eclipse.linuxtools.tmf.core_0.4.0.

In the logs, eclipse-4.5* is being referenced. This is the Mars release. Did you run scripts/setup.sh first?

It seems that your eclipse symbolic link is pointing to the Mars folder in this case.
Comment 3 Tim Orling 2016-06-29 15:58:40 UTC
Please try again, running the scripts/setup.sh first and then running scripts/build.sh
Comment 4 Humberto Ibarra 2016-06-29 15:59:56 UTC
Yes, I run setup.sh first and then use the suggested command with build.sh (with "luna-master master tbd" as the arguments for the script)

Will try again either way
Comment 5 Humberto Ibarra 2016-06-29 16:53:49 UTC
It works for me now. Not sure exactly what happened first time but I believe maybe I missed the "checkout luna-master" step before running the setup.sh
