SDK_EXT_TYPE = full, and no cross gdb in OE toolchain.
Also:
devtool build gcc-cross-<arch>
ERROR: No recipe named 'gcc-cross-<arch>' in your workspace

"devtool sdk-install gdb-cross-<arch>"
...
ERROR: Task do_packagedata does not exist for target gdb-cross-<arch>

I've addressed this two ways in the patchset I've just sent:

1) If SDK_EXT_TYPE = "full" then SDK_INCLUDE_TOOLCHAIN is automatically set to "1" which has the effect of including gdb-cross in the eSDK that gets built. If it's "minimal" then you can manually set SDK_INCLUDE_TOOLCHAIN to get the toolchain (including gdb-cross) in the eSDK that gets built.

2) If you have a minimal eSDK that you want to install gdb into, the easiest way is to install the entire toolchain including gdb via "devtool sdk-install meta-extsdk-toolchain".
