The code uses a lot of "internal" java, which leads to a restriction warning by default unless it is suppressed. There are also several objects that should be parameterized (e.g. Map should be Map<Object,Object>). Finally, there are deprecated functions called which should either be updated or the warning suppressed.
My local Neon tree has most of the changes done. I might be able to back-port to Mars for M3.
