Description Joshua Lock - Disabled 2012-03-23 17:34:49 UTC
As discussed briefly in bug #2107 we are relying heavily on gtk.Table which is a fixed layout and doesn't cope well with widgets that become larger than the size specified when inserting it into the table.

We should switch to using proportional layout schemes, at this point it may or may not be easier to use Glade to build the GUI to save lots of setting up gtk.Box subclasses. Though I've usually erred on the side of hand coding such things the puccho GUI demonstrates that the use of Glade is certainly tenable.

Note the Glade GUI designer outputs the more modern gtk builder format which we should use, rather than glade xml, if we go that route.

Once the switch to proportional layouts has been made we can increase the font size on the buttons as requested, preferably to the xx-large proportional size.
