Created attachment 924 [details] alerts-vs-errors in the building screen.png In the attached screenshot (alerts-vs-errors in the building screen.png), a warning (i.e. an error that does not cause the build to fail) has come up on the 'Log' tab of the 'Build' screen. This warning is presented visually exactly in the same way as an error (i.e. something that causes the build to fail). Warnings and errors should be presented differently. To keep it simple, we could just take out the red background and replace the error icon with a warning icon, as shown in the attached file presenting-alerts.pdf (it's a bit crude, but I hope it illustrates what I mean).

Hello Belen, In hob already exists a way of showing warnings. Please see the attachement. The backgroud is orange because this is the color for warnings in hob in general. The "warning" you catched is in fact reported as error by bitbake. That's why it is shown like this. If you agree I will close this bug. Thanks!

yes, please: I guess we can only display what bitbake tells us :) Thanks!! Belen (In reply to comment #2) > Hello Belen, > > In hob already exists a way of showing warnings.
